"You can have my gun when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers!"

Stiffed is a supernatural crime film shot in Albuquerque, New Mexico, employing a small budget and a talented cast of local actors. The film mixes elements of horror, comedy and film noir to create an offbeat world in which death is no longer the career killer it used to be.
The film is directed by Billy Garberina, a growing icon in the independent horror field. Garberina co-wrote, co-directed and starred in the award-winning 2007 horror comedy Necroville. He also produced the 2007 slasher flick Gimme Skelter. Garberina has acted in a number of films by other filmmakers, including Richard Griffin's Feeding the Masses, Don Adams' Dozers and Krist Rufty's Wicked Wood and Psycho Holocaust. His longest association has been with cult filmmaker Chris Seaver, who featured Garberina in his films Wet Heat, Ski Wolf, Terror at Bloodfart Lake, Taintlight and Deathbone.
Stiffed is written by Devin O'Leary, who for the past 15 years has been known as the film critic for the Weekly Alibi newspaper. In addition to writing for publications like Independent Film and Video Monthly, Starlog and AllMovieGuide.com, Mr. O'Leary has served as the booker and host of Midnight Movies at Albuquerque's Guild Cinema for more than 10 years. As an actor, he has appeared in a number of low-budget horror films, including The Stink of Flesh, Wedding Slashers and Romeo & Juliet vs. the Living Dead.
Garberina and O'Leary teamed up again for the feature film Rotgut, which filmed in fall of 2010 and is expected to complete post-production in summer of 2011.
